Electronic Payments Helped My Business Boom

Nine years ago I co-founded Ranch Road, and with the help of electronic payments, my business has continued to grow. We are an eco-friendly digital printing company specializing in personalized campaigns. With a majority of our products made online, accepting electronic payments is critical.

Accepting credit and debit cards makes our daily operations flow because it eliminates the need to tally up cash and secure it for deposit. It also offers a speedy cash flow option and makes us aware of our revenue before having to deal with our bottom line.

In November of 2010, we were given the great honor of being named one of the top 50 fastest growing businesses in Central Texas by the Austin Business Journal. Accepting electronic enabled us to reach a multitude of clients that were not just limited to the city of Austin. Also, receiving the money via electronic payments gives us more flexibility when taking on new projects because we get cash quickly instead of worrying about a potential bounced check or a late payment.

It’s important for small business owners to adapt to the ever-new technologies that are convenient for our customers in order to keep our enterprises afloat. I’m not sure if our business would have grown as much as it had without the acceptance of credit and debit cards. As a small business owner, I understand the hours of frustration and painstaking day-to-day operations that we often face, but electronic payments can help relieve this process.
