CMUSA Sponsors America’s Small Business Summit 2015
This week the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 11th annual Small Business Summit in Washington, DC. The Summit is the U.S. Chamber’s flagship member event of the year, bringing together more than 800 small business owners and chamber executives from across the country to network, learn from business experts and meet with elected officials.
We’re excited to share that CMUSA will be sponsoring this event alongside several other organizations. We will also have an exhibit booth at the summit, and we’ll use the conference as an opportunity to talk to small business owners from around the U.S. about electronic payments.
CMUSA is participating in America’s Small Business Summit because we believe that it’s more important than ever for small business owners to understand electronic payments. With more and more customers preferring to pay by card instead of cash, small businesses need to know how to find the best deal on card processing. And with the EMV transition right around the corner, it’s crucial that small businesses understand what this means for them. So during this conference, we’re going to educate as many small business owners as we can about the evolving world of electronic payments.
Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to a slate of amazing speakers, including Maria Contreras-Sweet, the head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos. The event will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to meet with elected officials and their staff to promote pro-small business policies.
